DOUVRIS Martial Arts is a karate family. 

Douvris Martial Arts was established by brothers and karate champions, Master Sensei John Douvris and Master Sensei Peter Douvris in 1984. DOUVRIS programs, methods, and standards have been designed, tested, and proven over 30 years. We offer consistently high-quality programs in karate, fitness, and leadership throughout Canada.

Here at Douvris TaeKwon-Do, our focus is helping our members build confidence, strength, and a positive sense of physical and mental well-being.  We are devoted to cultivating the practice of TaeKwon-Do, supporting the pursuit of fitness, teamwork, and developing leadership among people of all ages. TaeKwon-Do is a unique martial art for its use of traditional forms, which improve focus, concentration, memory, and reaction time.

The Gorham family is an all around martial arts family with the entire family involved as daughter Stephanie is a second dan blackbelt and son Christopher is a 3rd dan blackbelt.   With over 30 years of  TaeKwon-Do experience each,  Grand Master Scott Gorham and Master Dawn Gorham have had continuous success with their students in both  the competitive and traditional side of martial arts.  Christopher Gorham is the Assistant Competition Coach, who has won multiple local, national and world titles throughout his martial arts career, which started at the age of 4.
